Super Smash Bros. Brawl Subspace Emissary Part 3: Sea of Clouds
Part 3 of our Super Smash Bros. Brawl Subspace Emissary Playthrough takes us to the Sea of Clouds. We see Kirby and Zelda get thrust from off the wings of the Halbred. Kirby then starts a side-scrolling segment atop the Halbred. Basically nothing happens…Kirby sees Fox show up and the Halbred’s canons go wild sending Kirby and Zelda off course again.
Kirby now begins the Sea of Clouds and faces Primids and Gluders right off the bat. You follow the course down and around, but keep an eye out for hidden objects. You will see a few Boom Primids and then Feyesh followed by TowTow. We find a hidden area up above the Towtow and then find out that just like Ninja Turtles on NES….EVERYTHING RESPAWNS. Gah, that is annoying.
Anyway, we continue navigating the Sea of Clouds encountering the same series of enemies. The next door takes us out to a mountain scene and we have some Spaaks to deal with (this game is pure hell for a spell check, lol). We then encounter Mites, small annoying enemies that spawn from some sort of a portal. Coming down you will hear a rumble and soon find boulders falling from the mountain. Do your best to avoid them, but it is difficult to do so. After we fall into a pit of Mites we find the star up top…which we can now use for nothing, fabulous.
As we progress downhill boulders are following pretty closely. There are a series of ladders to help dodge the boulders. We are greeted by a Greap (I guess the grim reaper in a kettle of sorts). Right after that we hit the yellow door and clear the stage. Sadly, I lost Kirby right before that happened so Shiek finished things up for us.
We now have 6% completion.
